The Pregio Slim Razor jigs have been specifically designed for the Mediterranean and have a very good quality to price ratio. Not very common for a casting metal jig, the Pregio Slim Razor is long and fine.
Based on the same design philosophy as the very popular Razor model, company Pregio proceeded to the production of the Slim Razor version, which create even less resistance to every jerk of your rod and excellent movement in the water. Their slim profile makes them particularly tempting to any predator that feeds with Needle fish. The Slim Razor jig is characterized by an intense and playful motion, when in the water, with rotations and strong reflections, which arouses the predators instincts from a distance. This is due to its innovative geometry and its “diamond cut shape”.
This form makes it possible for the jig to descent in an irregular pattern and to produce an erratic descending move.
The intense flashing that the Pregio Slim Razor is producing and the vibrations, resemble the movement of a wounded fish fighting for its life. One of the secrets of the popularity of the Pregio Slim Razor jigs is that it produces a motion similar to that of a Slow Jigging jig, despite its slim profile.
The Slim Razor is generally used with the “Jerking technique during an abrupt and very fast recovery. It is also very effective when you cause long jolts (Jerking) and then letting it loose, while leaving slackness to the line. This technique will work equally well on active and wary fish.
It is an ideal jig for the classic Shore Jigging enthusiasts, but will also bring about captures from a boat with Light Jigging.
The Pregio Slim Razor jigs do not include Assist Hooks.
