Inside the Precision Xtreme Pencils durable and through-wired plastic body is an internal weight system that makes the lure one of the best-casting baits in its category. Rapala calls it the Dual Frequency Knocker. As the weight slides along the internal railing, it hits a plastic pillar on one side and a stainless-steel sphere, on the other. This results in the production of a sequence of high and low pitch sound, attracting fish from near and far.
Rapala also paid immaculate attention to external details of the lure, such as the extremely detailed printed scales and the new 3D holographic eye.
