The Seika Squid Leader, is a ready to use rig, designed by Italian company Tubertini, for Squid and Cuttlefish fishing in the Mediterranean. They incorporate all the basic elements required today for squid fishing from the boat.
The Seika Squid Leader rigs are made of three, transparent jigs, made of soft, textured silicone material, in bright colors, that makes them visible during daytime. Their body emits an intensive fluorescent effect, hence they can be fished during nighttime, or in depths where sunlight is not available.
Drop the Seika Squid Leader paternoster rig to the bottom and jiggle up and down to catch the squid. The idea is to fish with a Drop Shot rig, but with the squid jig () really close to the main line, with a fast stop and go action, from the rods tip.
