Combining the performance of a 3 sections rod, with a long range casting action and an affordable price, the Aerlex sits just below the middle of the Shimano Surf range and offers a great combination of value for money and high performance.
It has been designed with a fast tip. The Full Carbon blanks of the Aerlex rods, are remarkably lightweight and well balanced, yet deceptively powerful when pushed to their maximum compression. You will almost certainly be surprised at how well they cast, irrespective of your experience of strength. All models of the Shimano Aerlex Surf Casdting rods, come with a hybrid tip. Hybrid tips feature a seamlessly spliced solid section, which magnifies sensitive bites from smaller fish.
The stunning blank is fitted with Seaguide Zirconia guides, on a Stainless Steel frame, which are corrosion resistant, lightweight and safe for use with braid. A Shimano DPS reel seat will mount the largest size (14000) of Surfcasting reels and has been positioned to enable you to create maximum leverage, with your bottom hand when casting.
Available in two versions (4.25m – 200g, 4.50m – 200g), the Aerlex Surf 3pcs are equipped with a nylon bag for safe transport.
