This much loved series has been given an exciting upgrade in the small sizes. For the traditionalists, the larger sizes such as 6000 and 10000 are still available.
Available in three sizes for light to medium fresh and saltwater work, they have a good all-round retrieve speed of 4.6:1, one roller bearing and one needle bearing.
The Shimano Alvio FA family of land based reels has been designed from the gorund up with our P3 philosophy at the fore, so it comes as no surprise that when you first lay eyes on the Alvio FA it is obvious that they posses Power, Precision and Performance.
Lightweight graphite body, aluminium spool, front drag with up to 8kg of drag strength (on the 10000 model) and right or left hand retrieve make the Shimano Alivio reel ideal for light to medium surf fishing.
Other features include Dyna balanced rotor for smooth feel oscillation, Varispeed gear and line lay to assist line management and casting, power roller II and super stopper II anti-reverse. Trouble free design with one internal bearing and one roller bearing.
