Upgraded features include a machined handle, a replaceable spool clicker, Varispeed Oscillation for perfect line lay with braided or monofilament lines, and Propulsion Line Management to enhance casting distance.
Casting is further improved with Shimanos ARC Spool, a patented design with an angled spool lip that allows line to exit the spool with less friction and in smaller coils, resulting in longer, more accurate casts. ARC spools reduce backlash and wind knots when using braid.
Shimano S ARB bearings are highly corrosion-resistant ARB ball bearings with an extra shield for enhanced protection against sand, salt, or dust. With three double-sided, shielded stainless steel bearings and an anti-reverse bearing inside the Baitrunner OC, long life and smooth operation are assured.
