XT-30 & Fiberglass
The Shimano FX Spinning rod is made of XT-30 Carbon and Fiberglass, a naturally derived component delivering high rigidity, high compression strength and high tensile strength to rods. XT Carbon is used throughout the Shimano rod range. The number following the XT (XT100), denotes the quality of carbon fiber used. The higher the number, the stronger the carbon.
