The Light Assists by Kendozo have been designed for the Light Shore Jigging fishing style, or Light Jigging. They are tied with extra strong, reinforced PE Assist Line, with nylon core, a feature that gives these hooks a natural, floating motion, contributing in direct strikes with the slightest contact.

The hooks that have been used for this rig are light, at almost zero weight, so as not to affect the motion of light jigs. The Kendozo Light Assist hook has a very penetrating tip, a necessary feature for these techniques. Everything about the Kendozo Single Light Assist Hook has been carefully designed; the anatomy of the hook, the knot, the angle of the bent, the distance of the barb from the body of the hook, all of these elements ensure safe strikes, even in the hardest parts of the fishs jaws. The lighter the weight of the hooks, the faster they move at each jerk. And this increases the chances of a strike, since lightweight hooks return faster to the strike position, after each jerk.

In general, all fish have a huge suction capacity, in order to lead the prey into their sharp jaws. The lighter hooks are easily and quickly sucked into the predators mouth, often leaving out the heavy body of the jig. The length of the Assist Line will also play an important role, which should not be too long, but placed in the right place.

A heavy Assist hook repeatedly strikes our shot on its sides, always at the same length, as we strike with our rod. The result is a gradual weakening of the finish. However, the lighter the Assist Hook is, the softer the intensity of the blow, causing significantly less, or no damage at all.

Finally, a particularly important element of the Kendozo Light Assist hook is the fluorescent tinsels, as well as the UV colored glue, features which prove the emphasis on detail placed by Kendozo.
