To set up the blank of the Tide Thief, Slash used high-quality carbon fibers, combining them with the advanced Helical X Carbon Concept technology, offering to the final product unparalleled strength, while at the same time did not lose the blanks sensitivity.

Slash uses Fuji K-Series stainless guides to prevent line snags, or wind knots, in high wind conditions. The ceramic material in all the guides is Alconite, except for the top one, in which SiC was used. With this combination Slash has achieved functionality and braid protection, without raising the rods cost.

The Helical Wrapping construction method is used in both rod sections, to create a blank that is flexible, bends progressively and is capable of technical action. The tip is reinforced with Carbon tape, allowing natural movements and easy strikes. The handle design reduces wrist fatigue.

TT-962M

TT-962M is the heaviest version of rods, with a length of 2.90m and Casting Weight 10 42g. It can be combined with braided lines of PE#0.8 to PE#2.0. This is the rod to use if you are fishing for Seabass, when the wind is strong and the need to use heavy weight minnows becomes imperative.
