Particular attention has been paid by Meandros to all the parameters, that make up a quality product, that is easy-to-use and offers unprecedented ballistic performance. The Meandros B-28 Dragon has been designed to overcome the problems and weaknesses of common aluminum, such as the intense recoil, deformations, buoyancy and offers long-lasting reliability and excellent operation of all its mechanical parts, etc.
The Meandros B-28 speargun consists of the international, most advanced ergonomic Leader handle, with a particularly low profile, a non-slip, anatomic grip, arming heel, reduced friction spear guide, water balance compartment, ambidextrous monofilament guide (line release), multi-purpose bore, etc. It also includes the most advanced design of inverted, full inox, heavy duty trigger mechanism, with minimal weight and sensitivity. The trigger mechanism extends the loading length by +9.5 cm and has an ambidextrous mechanical side, fully functional line release.
The multiple sided tubular barrel of the Meandros B-28 Dragon, is made of aluminum alloy, with an integrated trapezium shaped, hydroplaning guide, which delivers stiffness, with a minimum weight of positive buoyancy of +3.73 gr / cm.
The Speargun Meandros B-28 Dragon offers full anodized protection. The thickness of the barrel wall for greater rigidity, is uneven (1mm 1.45mm depending on the stress point) overcoming the rest of circular tubes one might find in the market. Stiffness coupled with the absence of recoil, achieves shot precision and top ballistic performance at a distance from the tip of the spear to 5 times the length of the barrel. Much of the energy from the bands to the rod, is absorbed and is lost in the recoil when the mass of the barrel and gun is disproportionate to the setting.
The B-28 Speargun is sturdy and robust and guarantees rigidity, with minimal energy loss from recoil.
