It works literally flawlessly with any kind of retrieve and responds marvelously and accurately to the Jerks and Twitches coming from our rod. Its great advantage is something that we will rarely find in other lures. The Tackle House Papoose is made to remain at the depth at which we will let it sink, before we begin the retrieve. Where other lures tend to emerge, this will persist into the depths of its original immersion, fishing exclusively in this zone for much longer than any other bait in its category.Therefore, due to the body shape including the lip and the heavy weight design, “If you sink 1m, you can continue to aim accurately at the 1m swimming layer. 2m is 2m swimming layer, 3m is 3m.”
