The Hi-Tide TZ is the leading Seabass rod series, by Japanese company Tailwalk, which used top, rod building materials, both for the blank and the peripheral equipment. High density Solid Carbon material has been used in the tip section, for high sensitivity and long casts. Titanium frame guides and Torzite ceramic rings made by Fuji company, contribute to the reduction of the total weight, the increase of the sensitivity and the achievement of long, tangle free casts.
This series of Seabass Spinning rods has been tested by Tailwalk field testers, in various conditions and different fields of Japanese waters. Tailwalk preserved the successful “setting” by using the particular Fuji guides and capitalizing on their benefits, such as avoiding tangles and blank deformation. Tailwalk also kept the metal elements on the handles and on the reel seat.
The Hi-Tide TZ Seabass rod series, combines high performance equipment, with excellent quality blank material, resulting in a highly sensitive rod, with an optimum bending curve. To the low weigh of the rod the Fuji TVS reel seat also contributes.
The S98MH Spinning Seabass rod of the Tailwalk Hi-Tide TZ series has been built to achieve extremely long casts, with lures in the range between 20 to 40 gr. This particular rod is also ideally combined with braided lines up to PE # 2.0.

C Cross Joint
Reinforced joint with special carbon tape coating. Achieves further weight reduction, without affecting strength. This spigot has been utilized by Tailwalk for the TZ rod series.
