Tenryu has adopted and modernized this process, to create a cutting edge technique in processing fabric, in the shape of a fishing rods blank. The Power Master rods, will serve anglers who are targeting fighting species such as Blue Fish, from the shore. The Butt section is reinforced with CNT material, to allow the angler to charge without hesitation.

Tenryu has equipped the Power Master with K Series Guides of Stainless Frame with SiC rings. The original Nishijin textile has been used for the manufacturing of the Reel Seat.

The PM972S-M is a lightweight rod with parabolic action. It has been developed for Ultra Light Shore Jigging and Heavy Spinning. It has a well balanced length, well-suited for Lures up to 60 gr, metal jigs ideally at 40 gr and Plugs of 30 gr. This rod has increased sensitivity and provides comfort in battling prey up to 3kg. The recommended settings include Max PE3, Max leader at 60lbs and Max drag settings at 4kg.

The PM972S-MH is a Heavy Spinning / Light Shore Jigging rod. Its Casting Weight will allow you to cast up to 80 gr Lures, Plugs in the range of 30 to 50 gr and Metal Jigs around 60gr. It is a well balanced length, allowing you a comfortable handling. For an enjoyable Light Shore game, with target up to 5kg the recommended setting includes, Max PE3, Max Leader 60lbs, and Max Drag setting at 4.5kg.

Carbon Nano Tube Material (CNT)

CNT is a material that is expected to be used in the future in many ways, such as manufacturing semi-conductor, fuel cells, optical equipment, even space elevators. Tenryu recently introduced the use of CNT in fishing rods to create a new era in rod building. Today’s rods have become far more lightweight than the rods ten years ago, by controlling resin amount of resin-impregnated carbon fiber. To maintain elasticity and strength, Tenryu has added different materials such as Boron and Kevlar fibers. However, by adding different materials, it is inevitable to make a rod heavier. CNT has resolved this problem, as CNT penetrates into resin connecting each carbon fiber and enhancing them in connecting tightly.
