Of course it will excel in calm weather conditions as well and it can cast far with impeccable accuracy heavy wobblers, jigs, silicone lures, or any type of lure withing the Casting Weight range between 10 and 90 gr. It has been designed to have enough energy reserves, for each lure within this range and for each predator, who might find itself at the end of your line. The world knows that the Tenryu rods are extremely reliable, but easy to use. The Casting Weight makes them unique in terms of range, but this the outcome of the special construction process of the carbon blank.

The Tenryu Ventury 300 is a perfectly balanced, Fast Action rod. It will conduct the vast majority of the lures you carry in your tackle box, against the fierce predators of the open sea, or the smaller predators near the shore. The tips sensitivity will transmit to your palm, all available information, making sure you enjoy every minute of the fight. Despite the 3 m length, the Ventury can also be used from the boat, for Casting fishing.

The rod features three different EVO sections in the butt, making it comfortable to hold, offering a solid grip.

In terms of peripheral equipment, Tenryu made no compromises and equipped the Ventury 300 with Fuji K-Series Anti-Tangle guides, with Slim SiC Rings and Deep Pressed Frame. The striking red color of the Tenryu rods, makes a clear statement that these rods are here to draw the line.

The Ventury 300 can be mounted with a Spinning reel and targets species such as Barracudas, Dentex and large Seabass.

Depending on your favorite fishing style, the Tenryu Ventury 300 will need a different ‘setup’ to get the most out of it, as between fishing styles such as Light Shore Jigging and Heavy Spinning, there are fundamental differences. If for example you are going to fish with Heavy Spinning then use a PE 1.2 braided line with a fluorocarbon leader between 0.33 and 0.37 mm. If you are going to fish with Light Shore Jigging, then we recommend a PE 2.0 braid with a leader of 0.40 to 0.47 mm .
