Tica is the trade name of Everwinner founded in 1965 in Taihung, Taiwan. At its inception, Everwinner focused on the development and production of sports equipment. It then changed its production line and turned to the development of high-quality, fishing equipment, supplying the global market. In 1991, Everwinner created the TICA brand for the fishing rods and tackle it produced.
The Tica Titan Claw is a fast Baitcasting reel with a 7.3:1 Gear Ratio, designed for fishing techniques such as Tai Rubber, Inchiku and Jigging. It is equipped with a long, single handle for ease of use and a large knob, made of non-slip EVA material for a firm and secure grip.
7 RRB sealed, ball bearings allow the reel to rotate smoothly under pressure. It has a single aluminum body, the result of CNC technology, a Carbon Drag system, which can withstand high temperatures and offer smooth operation and a stopping force of up to 15 kg. The Star Drag allows for micro adjustments.
The instant anti-reverse function will instantly stop braid release, at the slightest movement of the handle.
The Baitcasting Tica Titan Claw has a forged and anodized aluminum spool, to enhance the spool’s resistance against oxidation. The Level Wind has undergone treatment and coating with Titanium, to avoid oxidation and reduce the wear of the line.
Maintenance of the Tica Titan Claw reel can become an easy task, by easily removing the side cap.
