Tica is the trade name of Everwinner founded in 1965 in Taihung, Taiwan. At its inception, Everwinner focused on the development and production of sports equipment. It then changed its production line and turned to the development of high-quality, fishing equipment, supplying the global market. In 1991, Everwinner created the TICA brand for the fishing rods and tackle it produced.
The Tica Urus is a Spinning reel, that will work ideally in fishing techniques in which slow retrieve is required, such as Eging. They are equipped with the ZOS technology for excellent line laying, a characteristic that also helps to achieve long casts, even when used in strong head wind conditions.
It is equipped with 7 RRB Ball Bearings, Anti-Twist Line Roller, Anti-reverse system and an aluminum spool against seawater corrosion. The Tica Urus have a slim profile to reduce weight. The Bail Arm is of high density for increased strength and stiffness.
Size 5000 has a large, oval shaped knob.
