The Tokuryo Linesystem is made of a high density material called PVDF, that has a refraction degree similar to that of sea water, making it totally invisible to prey.
The Tokuryo Fluorocarbon Leader is tough and very tolerant to abrasion, hence it can maintain its strength if it is scratched against rocks, or other structures. Caught fish that resorted to diving into sea wrecks, in vertical drops, or pulling close to the shore, even though they managed to cause damage to the Tokuryo fluorocarbon to half its diameter, they did not manage to cut it, as is the case with most leaders.
