The Ropes End Protectors is a useful and very simple solution to the problem of ropes fraying ends. The pack contains:
The bands are simply placed over the end of the ropes and heat shrunk to fit, by a naked flame. The resulting plastic whippings offer robust, strong and neat seals to the ropes ending. A solution that is far better than winding an end with insulating tape, or merely burning it with a cigarette lighter and far quicker than whipping the end in the traditional way with a needle ant thread.
The bands are also suitable for covering an eye-splice, for example, or to act as position-markers.
