The Strong jig heads include a whole range of models, with toughened hooks, heavier heads, while maintaining the touch-down features such as the horizontal fall, darting performance and the wobbling of silicone baits, squids, etc. in response to water currents. The sharp and pointy shape of the jig head, is what Xesta added to make the Touch Down Strong ideal for darting action to be produced.
Due to the sturdy construction, this Xesta Touch Down jig head, can send your softly vibrating, silicone rig to strike zones that previously could only be accessed with metal jigs. Hence the range of target preys will significantly expand and the methods used to catch them will also increase.
During retrieve, a “hollow” part on the left and right side of the jig head generates a turbulent flow of water and allows a portion of the tail to vibrate, causing an exquisite action.
The Xesta Touch Down jig heads offer three different motions to your silicone bait. It will fall, it will swim in a darting motion and it will enable the soft bait to wobble. The Touch Down jig head can perform all these motions in a well-balanced manner.
