Combining the new GPD technology to reduce stretch and the WX braiding technology to produce a tight body of line, with a smaller diameter, the YGK X-Braid Fulldrag X8 is ideal for all anglers and applications.
Among all the braided lines in the market, the YGK X Braid X8 series, have the smoothest surface and the thinnest line diameter. This super-thin braided line offers a much longer life span, as well as almost no memory. The YGK WX Braiding technology makes the line with the least stretch and tightest line body.The raw fibers on the spools, which rotate clockwise and counterclockwise, are pulled out little by little, intersecting each other and woven into a single line. Braid twist occurs when the raw fiber is pulled out from the spool, just like when the line is released from the spinning reel. At that time, the clockwise spools, spin clockwise, the counterclockwise ones, spin counterclockwise and the raw fiber is woven with precision, resulting in a straight and well-balanced line with no single twist. YGK developed the machinery that is required to achieve this, in-house.
