The Yo-Zuri Aurie Q-Finace squid jig, has been based on the previously successful model Aurie Q-Ace.
The Finace has almost the same shape and profile as the Ace, however a new innovation has been incorporated, named by Yo-Zuri Stable Fin. Once you have this squid jig in your hand you will notice that there are three protuberances, one on the top of the body and the other two on the side of the tail. These fins have revolutionized the balance and underwater posture of the Aurie Q-Finace. There is no other squid jig with such a stable posture, other than the Finace.
The Stable Fins allow you to fully control this Yo-Zuri squid jig. It simply stays there, stabilizes its posture and reduces uneseccary upwards, or downwards, or from side to side movements. They also make sudden darting motions easy.
The sinking speed of the Aurie-Q Ace was 3 sec per meter, but the Finace is lighter and its sinking rate is at 3.2 sec per meter, so the Finace stays longer in each level of the water column.
New, modern colors have been selected, designed on blue, luminous, Keimura material. Yo-Zuri has taken into consideration,studies that have been conducted in the field of vision of Squids and Cuttle fish, in an effort to understand what kind of light is more effective and it found out that light emissions around 490Nm are perceived more easily by cephalopods.
So Yo-Zuri divided the Aurie Q-Finace squid jigs into three categories, which you can also distinguish by the way they look in the darkness after exposing them to UV light.
Colors LGOG, LP, LMBI and LBI emit light at a wavelength of around 520Nm and can be fished day and night.
All colors starting with the letters BL, emit light at a wavelength of 488Nm and can also be fished both day and night. Their body emits a blue color.
Finally, all colors starting with the letters KV have Ultraviolet fabric. Although Yo-Zuri recommends them mainly for daytime fishing, in Mediterranean waters, we fish them mainly at night.
