The Yo-Zuri Aurie-Q Search Glow is the first squid jig, with the Double Glow body.
Yo-Zuri has incorporated in the Aurie-Q Double Glow a unique concept, that of a body that emits light in two different wavelengths. The green color is emitted at a 520nm wavelength, while the blue color is emitted at 488nm. This feature allows the angler to experiment with different UV lights, when charging the squid jig and accomplish a different result.
Another unique feature is the rattling spheres, that produce a characteristic sound that resembles that of a shrimp, bending its tail and echoing in the water when it escapes from danger. This sound is very characteristic and can be instantly identified, as Yo-Zuri estimated that the speed of sound the in water is about 4.4 times faster than in the air.
The Snagless Sinker is a Blade Sharp Sinker in the shape of a boats keel. Yo-Zuri created this after having it tested repeatedly, through trial and error, so that it tears the water like a sharpened blade and brings the Egi to life.
Finally the Yo-Zuri Aurie Q Search squid jigs have been equipped with round, stainless steel hooks.
