Yo-Zuri developed the Ebi Q TR for the Tip & Run Eging fishing style, which is practiced from the boat. With Tip & Run Eging a boat angler can aim for squids in deep areas such as 30, 40, 50 meters. For such a fishing style, you need the 1,60 up to 2 meters rod, that you would normally use in a boat, which is a lot softer and flexible, to give motion to the lure and allow the user to feel bites. At the same time it possesses a lot of strength in the butt. Tip & Run squid jigs are normally heavy, in the range of 25 gr, or above however when strong currents exist in the area, an additional sinker is needed.

Shrimp Hands Yo-Zuri has created a rubber imitation of the shrimps maxillipeds. When moving in the water, they look like the front legs of a shrimp, create vibrations and a natural motion, appealing to squids.

Round Trick Hook: The Trick hooks, feature a glowing ring, that is easily noticed in the dark. These hooks dramatically reduce snagging, as they bend moderately, resulting in a high recovery rate of the lures.

A Trick Hook with a high snag recovery rate, has been designed to have a slightly round shape, that makes it difficult for the hooked Squid to come off.

Yo-Zuri has also adopted a system, by which you can easily distinguish the UV color of the squid jig at a glance. Simply throw a UV flash light on the dot.
