Yo-Zuri wanted to give to the Pins Minnow enthusiasts – a lure that has been in the international market for several years and has countless catches to its credit – a new and sophisticated minnow, that retains the unique advantages of Pin’s Minnow, but at the same time it also improves some of its features to respond to new techniques and fishing gear. Consider that when Pin’s Minnow was released by Yo-Zuri, few inshore anglers had heard of Light Rock Fishing.
One of the weaknesses that Yo-Zuri has re-addressed, is Pins Minnow’s inability to make long casts. With the addition of the Magnetic Weight Transfer System, moving spheres are locked in the front part of the lure when retrieved, to maintain the lures balance. All it takes is your wrists snap, to move the spheres to the tail of the lure, in order to cast it far, in relevance to its size.
The Mag Slim is most productive when casted and slow retrieved, but can also be twitched and paused during the retrieve for increased performance and strike response. The Mag Minnow Series produces a tight wiggling action that makes this bait irresistible to both fresh and saltwater game fish.
The Magnetic Weight Transfer System allows the lure to cast straight, even in a strong wind and maintain its balanced action even against strong currents.
